Meet Your Host Dan Costello:

Your host with the most! Dan is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and prime staple of the remote but robust music scene in Boise, Idaho, USA. Armed at an early age with a radio and a baritone ukulele, his love for music led him to a classical guitar degree from Boise State, and a full-time professional music career now spanning over fifteen years as a performer, writer/arranger, educator and simultaneous rabble-rouser/peacemaker in his local community.

What to Expect at the Forum:

Hear original music by many different songwriters! Songwriters bring original songs and sing to an appreciative, listening audience. One writer – one song.  Lots of fun for performers and for the audience. The event is free, all ages welcome, and listening encouraged.

Check the calendar on our Facebook Events Page as locations change. Most of the Boise Songwriters Forums are held in the beautiful Sapphire Room located inside the Riverside Hotel at 2900 W Chinden Blvd. Garden City, Idaho 83714.

When: The LAST Tuesday of each month.  (except December)
Time: Doors open at 5:30 PM. Music at 6:30 PM . Wraps up by 9:30 PM.

How to sign-up:
Day of show sign-ups will be welcomed starting at 5:30.  Late-comers may still be able to snag a spot if the roster isn’t full.

Sign up to play:

Each month, Idaho Songwriters Association hosts an open event that is free of charge. Hear original music by many different songwriters, each playing one original song to an appreciative, listening audience.  Sign-ups are done in person starting at 5:30 the night of the show.  The music begins at 6:30.
