Lori Stom
Lori Stom was raised in a musical family and began playing piano at a young age. She was born in Boise, Idaho, raised in Logan, Utah, lived in Esfahan, Iran, Denver, Colorado and San Diego, California, and now resides in Meridian, Idaho. Lori received her first guitar at the age of fifteen, and as she grew to adulthood, she began teaching piano and directing multiple choirs. In 2007 she transferred her love from the guitar to the mandolin and tenor ukulele. She also began playing flute when she was younger and in the last few years transferred to playing an alto flute as well.
Lori has written songs performed at ISA forums with her family under the Aspen River Band, with Jack Stom, Cindi Walton, and Lee Walton. She has collaborated on a number of songs as well. Lori is very excited to join the ISA Board of Directors and looks forward to working alongside others to make ISA a more common “name” within the community.
